The Homemaker program offers the arrangement, purchase, and ongoing case management of homemaker/home health services for elderly and/or disabled adults who require personal care in order to remain in their own homes. The program is funded through the Bergen County Division of Senior Services and with Peer Group Initiative Funds.
Eligibility
Eligibility depends on several factors such as income, household size, resources, etc.
Monthly income limits for the Homemaker program are stated below. Income includes Social Security, Pension, earnings, dividends, interest payments, rental income, etc.
Single: $3,918 Couple: $5,299
Resource limits for the Homemaker program are below. Resources include cash, checking and savings accounts, stock/bonds, etc.
Individual = $40,000 Couple = $60,000

Donation Policy
This program is at no cost to the client. However, this agency gladly accepts monetary donations to finance the continuation of services under this program. This donations can be made anonymously.
